Clayton Emery is a writer of 20+ novels, short stories appearing in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine and Mammoth anthologies, kids’ TV tie-ins, and several screenplays. He’s adapted one of his stories, nominated for an Edgar® Award, into a screenplay now under option with Faye Schwab. He also creates websites and podcasts. He’s the creator and writer for THE REPUBLIC. He works as a Technical Writer for the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, DC.

Ken Penders is a graphic artist, illustrator, writer, and director. He’s illustrated comics and graphic novels for Marvel and DC, including two Star Trek® franchises, Conan, and other properties. He was a storyboard artist on ALIEN RACERS and KING OF THE HILL. He’s the creator, producer and director for THE LOST ONES, an Asian-American superhero movie trailer, and the director for THE REPUBLIC. He lives in Los Angeles.
